These block printed lampshades are handmade to order from studio test-prints. Prints vary from month to month so please get in touch to view available options. The fabric is carefully selected to work as a 360° design, making each lampshade unique.
Test-printing is an essential part of my block printing practice. I trial designs in small quantities with Soil Association approved inks or natural dyes on a range of low-impact fabrics. Lampshades have become an outlet for my studio experiments.

This linen is printed using a print-block-shoe technique—walking the blocks across the fabric and using body weight to transfer ink to cloth. I print in my Glasgow studio with Soil Association approved inks on 100% Irish linen. Fabric is suitable for clothing, covers or drapes and is washable by hand or on a cool, delicate cycle. 'After You' cushions are block printed with solvent-free ink on Irish linen and handmade in my Glasgow studio. Available in natural, yellow or pink with a concealed zipper. Supplied with an organic wool filled cushion pad.
